Pro Soccer Consulting (PSC FC) from the UPSL are proud to partner with So Cal Reds FC for the 2024/25 season. The Irvine based youth academy offers boys and girls programs with over 3000 registered youth players within their competitive and recreational teams. They currently have teams competing in MLS Next and the Elite Academy League and over 95 teams playing at a competitive level.

The collaboration with PSC will now provide SoCal Reds players with an exciting opportunity to play at the UPSL level and receive annual professional exposure through the PSC Network and their Pro Combine events held locally twice per year. 

In the last 13 years PSC have seen over 600 players placed professionally in Europe and USA and even more offered opportunities around the world. It is the United States most established and successful pro combine company. Recent pro men’s and women’s placements include 2023 Texas player, Leo Londe with English Premier League side Sheffield United, Arizona player, Zishim Bawa signing with Drogheda United in the League of Ireland, Premier Division, 2023 Orlando player, Sofia Lewis signing in the Portugal Premier League with Clube de Albergaria and Linli Tu signing with Iceland Premier League side, Breidablik.

 Since the formation of our UPSL Programs ten years ago a number of these placements have come directly from California and Arizona UPSL teams. Standout examples include:

Zishim Bawa: Signed with Bodens BK in Sweden and then Drogheda United in Ireland Premier League.

Kalani Delarole: Signed with FC Zurrieq in Malta

Gianluca Cuomo: Signed with San Antonio (USL Championship)

Jesus Ibarra: Signed with Bodens BK in Sweden then Charleston Battery & Greenville Triumph in USL

The UPSL offers high school aged and graduating players the chance to compete in a top level open aged environment that see’s players with a wide range of backgrounds from division 1 college players to top aspiring youth players to former professionals. We want to offer the local youth players a chance to play at the highest levels and the opportunity to receive professional exposure on a regular basis through PSC. We are a proven pathway for talented players in this country that are looking to play at the professional level as we have the capability to place players at all different levels in a range of countries around the world. I will be coaching  the Boys U19 Elite Academy team and UPSL team for the 24/25 season and I am excited to start working with the organization and providing a pathway for players at the club.”

Tryouts

Tryouts for the SoCal Reds UPSL and the U19 Boys EA teams will begin on TUESDAY, JUNE 4th at St Jeannes Sports Complex in Santa Ana. Interested players that are looking to be a part of the team should register at the link below:
