SoCal Reds FC has earned national distinction as an organization with a history of producing quality players. As a member of the MLS NEXT Youth Development Platform, we will continue to build on our high standards on and off the field and be a national leader in player development.

MLS NEXT is an elite youth soccer development platform in the United States and Canada, established by Major League Soccer (MLS) in 2020. It provides a competitive environment for top youth players, offering a clear pathway to collegiate, professional, and national team opportunities. MLS NEXT features over 600 teams across various age groups from top clubs nationwide, emphasizing high-level coaching, advanced player development, and comprehensive competition. The platform is designed to elevate the standard of youth soccer and nurture the next generation of talent for professional leagues and international play.

The Elite Academy (EA) League is a national youth soccer platform in the United States, offering a competitive environment for boys and girls outside the MLS NEXT structure. It focuses on providing high-quality coaching, structured competition, and showcase events to help players develop and advance to collegiate or professional levels. The EA League's mission is to enhance player development by creating opportunities for aspiring athletes to compete at a high level while fostering inclusivity, collaboration, and excellence within the soccer community. Their goal is to bridge the gap for clubs and players seeking a pathway to the next level of their soccer journey.

The EA2 League is an extension of the Elite Academy (EA) League, designed to offer competitive opportunities for clubs and players at a developmental level below the primary EA League. It focuses on providing a structured environment where players can grow, refine their skills, and prepare for advancement to higher levels of competition, such as the EA League or other elite platforms. The mission of EA2 is to expand access to quality soccer experiences, fostering development for a broader range of players and ensuring inclusivity while maintaining high standards of competition, coaching, and player growth.
